TCF made a humble beginning in 1992 to make health services available to remote and disadvantaged Nigerian population. Today with the support of partners TCF has grown as an International Non Governmental Organisation benefiting till date nearly 2 million disadvantaged children and adults in Nigeria. Nigeria is divided into 6 geo – political zones. TCF reaches out to disadvantaged and remote population in all the 6 geo-political zones of the country.

TCF in 20 years achieved :

  • Vision of 114,994 children and adults, restored.
  • Primary healthcare for nearly 0.75 million people.
  • Safe water made available to nearly 3 million people.



Primary Health Care - Small projects (Medical camps, rehabilitation of disabled people, pathology lab set up, lab equipment imported, etc) across Nigeria in Kano, Kaduna, Port Harcourt


Primary Health Care - The first Clinic was started in Oyo State with a doctor visiting twice a week from Ibadan


Water - Safe Drinking Water Program launched in Kebbi State - 30 wells rehabilitated

Water - Kebbi Water Project - Takes off in Bagudo Local Government. 28 Hand-pumps rehabilitated Eye Care - Vision Rainbow Preventive Eye Care Project - a program for screening school children for visual defects launched in Lagos. 161000 children screened and 7400 spectacles distributed.

Eye Care - Surgical eye interventions start with a camp in Kebbe followed by Cross River and Oyo. Eye Care - Eye camps in Kebbi, Oyo and Cross River States conducted - over 2600 surgeries performed with 99% success"


Primary Health Care - Kachia PHC - second primary health care program in Kaduna State in partnership with NPHCDA,State and Kachia Local Govt begins. Water - Wherever The Need (WTN), UK supported Water Project in Kebbi -25 hand-pumps rehabilitated


Primary Health Care - Imo State - Isu PHC Project. Eye Care - Started eye care project in Owerri, Imo state


Primary Health Care - Adamawa State - Yola PHC Project Water - Cross River Water Project initiated in partnership with CRS Government (RUWATSAN) Eye Care - Started an eye hospital in Yola, Adamawa


Water - UNICEF Partnership initiated - PCA-1 in 4 States- Kano, Kwara, Benue & Osun


Primary Health Care - Cross River State PHC Project Water - TY Danjuma Foundation supported Water Project Initiated - in Taraba. Completing Phase-4 in Jan-2015 Eye Care - Paediatric camp conducted in Abuja - over 50 children treated

Water - Vitol charitable foundation supported Niger Water Project initiated. Completed Phase-2 in Oct-2014 Water - Federal Ministry of Water Resources (FMWR) supported Project takes off. In 90 LGAs of 16 States – 1,004 Hand-pumps rehabilitated – Largest single donor project" Eye - Katsina eye centre started.


Water - UNICEF supported PCA-6 diversified to Motorized Water Facilities.


Primary Health Care - Kaduna State, Zaria PHC initiated in partnership with Kewalram foundation Eye Care - Successful handing over of Katsina eye program to the State Government.


Water – 732 Hand Pump Boreholes and 84 Motorized Boreholes were rehabilitated in 22 LGAs of 10 State under PCA 6 supported by UNICEF.


Primary Health Care - Successful handing over of Cross River State PHC program Water - UNICEF supported PCA -7 Started for rehabilitation of 2228 Hand Pumps and 10 Motorized Boreholes in 41 LGAs of 12 States. Eye Care - Started Eye care project at Owerri in partnership with Imo State Government
