Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa. Essential health care services remain inaccessible to a large number of disadvantaged and remote Nigerian populations. There has been considerable amount of work done by the Nigerian Government in the recent past. However, Nigeria has a long way to go to ensure quality health services for its people.
Tulsi Chanrai Foundation (TCFNigeria), with the vision to ensure a healthy Nigeria, has been playing an instrumental role in enhancing the availability, accessibility, affordability and effectiveness of health care services in remote areas of Nigeria. The key thrust areas of TCF are restoring sight, providing access to primary health care and providing safe drinking water. Each thrust area is considered as a mission in itself with the allocation of expert attention, time and resources allocated to achieve the same.
